They Grow Up So Fast…

December 21, 2009

I was just looking around in random folders on my computer and found these precious photos of my puppy Scarlett. I then realized that she is about 25 times the size she was this summer and she’s only like halfway to her full size. Anyways moral of the story don’t forget to get your puppies Christmas gifts!

The greatest unveiling of an artistic work began with the words “Fiat lux”, which in Latin means Let There Be Light. I am in no way comparing this first  blog post to such an event but the excitement that God must have had in him during that first burst of light is comparable to the excitement I have in presenting to you Rivets and Roses. It has been a glorious 3 years of wedding photography for me and I am so proud to be a part of this company. I want to welcome everyone I know, everyone I don’t, and everyone I will to be a part of this blog.  I look forward to posting on here and sharing with you all the light that I have and will capture.

“Set the needle on it’s path,
Bobbing up and down and past.
Tears and seams all turn to one
With every stitch and each spool spun.”
